Seventh graders Jalisa Smith and Tsion Habtamu have been accepted into the prestigious biomedical pipeline Physician Scientists Training Program at Temple University School of Medicine. These students will join 60 other students from across the country for a six-week program at Southern Methodists University in Dallas, Texas this summer. This longitudinal program suports talented students starting in junior high through their medical/graduate school.
