About Us

The Home and School Association of the Penn Alexander School provides financial and community support to enrich the academic, personal and neighborhood resources of the School.

The mission of the Home and School Association includes acting as a vehicle for families to voice their hopes for the School and to be involved in School improvement activities.

The Home and School Association is a 501(c)(3) organization that sponsors community-building events for children and their families, provides information about life at the School and raises funds (through fundraising activities and with an annual drive) to enhance student programs. General membership meetings of the HSA take place six times during the School year and are organized to offer information and to permit parents and guardians to participate in discussions about current issues.

There is a Home and School Association mail box in the Main Office at the School.

Families are welcome and encouraged to participate in HSA activities.

For the 2008-2009 school year, the Home and School Association Board members are

  • Amy Neukrug (President)
  • Rochelle Johnson (Vice President – Upper School)
  • David Koppisch (Vice President – Lower School)
  • Terrilyn McCormick (Treasurer)
