Download Summer Reading and School Supply Lists Here

Each student received two summer reading books and a list of grade-specific supplies for next year in their report card packet on the last day of school. In case that information didn't make it home or has disappeared in the transition to summer, downloadable versions of the list of summer reading books and the supply lists are available here.

School Supply Program Extended Until August 1

It's not too late to participate in the School Supply Program. Orders will be accepted through July 31st.  The problem with the School Supply item in the store has been resolved. Our apologies to anyone who had difficulty with it. Any school supply orders placed via the Donation link and described as such have been processed correctly.

Summer Gardeners Needed

Help our garden thrive! Sign up to care for the PAS garden for a week or more this summer. Interested parents are invited to attend a training after school on June 10 or June 16. Sign up here.

School Supply Program

PAS Administration and the HSA have once again teamed up to offer parents an alternative to school supply shopping. For a donation of $75/student, we will do the shopping for you. Families of 122 students took advantage of this time-saving and potentially money-saving opportunity last year.  If you are interested in participating in this year's program, you can pay online or print and complete the attached form. The deadline for this opportunity is June 19, 2014. Supplies will be delivered to your child's classroom on the first day of school.  Please be sure to indicate your child's grade for 2014-15.

Keep Your Contact Information Current

Parents: It is very important that PAS adminsitration can reach you in an emergency. If any of your contact information has changed since school started, please visit or send a note to the office with updated information as soon as possible.

Web Site Store Update

The PAS HSA is pleased to continue to offer an online payment option for donations and ticket sales to most school events; however, the credit card and PayPal fees associated with these purchases detract from our fundraising goals. For this reason, all online purchases and donations made via the Penn Alexander Home and School Association web site will now have a 2.9% fee added to them at check out. The addition of this nominal fee will help ensure that more of the funds raised can be put towards student programming and associated expenses.

We encourage you to avoid this fee whenever possible and submit donations and payments by check made out to the PAS HAS. Checks can be submitted in appropriately labeled envelopes via the Pony or at the PAS office.

The past two years have been marked by a dramatic and much needed increase in PAS Home and School fundraising. We appreciate your support and look forward to increased growth.
